Food Standards Success!31 March 2015
We've had a busy week getting ready for the Food Hygiene visit and we can happily reveal that we passed with flying colours! Our 'scores on the doors' is a very good 5/5 so you can be reassured to know that as well as top class cooking, we have got top class cleanliness too!
Over the past 12 months we have worked closely with our environmental health officer to make sure Simply Stock meets the necessary health & safety requirements and regulations, HACCP, to ensure that our kitchen and working knowledge of the process passes strict criteria. Our products have been independently tested in laboratories, to make sure they contain no nasty bacteria.
We have established relationships with our trading standards officer to make sure the labels on our products QUID give our consumers all the information needed to make informed choices.
As we want to develop this further, we are in the process of adopting the traffic light system to clearly display nutritional content and values of Simply Stock.
We follow information and briefings from our officers and the Food Standards Agency and are committed to adopting best practise when preparing, cooking and packaging our stock so that you are getting the best possible product we can provide.
